“S7 Backup” is an small tool for creating Manual and Automated Backups of all your online controller data of your “Simatic S7” compatible controllers. This tool connects tho the specified Controllers and uploads all available online data and saves them in Backup files. These file can be archived and restored when required.
The Tool supports the following Cpu:
- Siemens S7-300
- Siemens S7-400
- Vipa Speed 7, 100V. 200V and 300S series
- Vipa Speed 7 Slio series
It supports connection via Ethernet and MPI connections (via an MPI Adapter). The tool supports the upload and download of all online data, and thus allows the restoration of the controller to any point in time where an backup existes.
The follwing Memory areas are supported:
- All code blocks (OB, FB, FC)
- Data blocks and current values
- Marker (M-Area)
- Timer and Counter values
- Hardware configuration
